★★★★★ “We are so relieved to finally have a site that looks like us and reflects what we do — Jérémie and his team are extremely responsive, available and friendly. The visuals are clear and appealing, and the back office is very simple and intuitive to use. Excellent value for money. The team gives great advice and is always available. Our site has just gone live and I can't wait to hear what our customers think. Thank you again for everything and all the best to you all!”

Project objective
The main objective was to transform the online shop of Tell Me Wine, a wine merchant and tapas bar in the picturesque town of Chepstow, in the heart of the Wye Valley. Our brief was to improve the user experience, sharpen the e-commerce features and modernise the look of the site so it reflected the quality and authenticity of what Tell Me Wine sells.
Solutions implemented
The Shopify platform
To meet those objectives we chose Shopify for its usability, its robustness and its flexibility. That choice meaningfully improved the online buying process, making navigation intuitive and transactions more secure for the end customer.
Client training
Knowing how important it was for the client to run their new site themselves, we delivered complete training on content management and e-commerce operations in Shopify. It gave the Tell Me Wine team everything they needed to take charge of the site, add new products, manage stock and track orders easily.
Migration and go-live
The migration to the new site was carefully planned and executed to guarantee a transition with no interruption. We paid particular attention to preserving existing SEO indexing so no organic traffic was lost.
Results
The new Tell Me Wine site was enthusiastically received by the client and by their visitors alike. The improvements drove a noticeable increase in user engagement and growth in online sales. Because the site is easy to manage, the client has also been able to focus more on expanding their range and their services rather than worrying about technical constraints.
Conclusion
The TellMeWine.co.uk redesign illustrates how effective our client-centred approach is, and our ability to adapt advanced technical solutions to the specific needs of each business. At Abstract27 we are proud to contribute to our clients' success by delivering web solutions that meet their immediate requirements and prepare them for what comes next.
